Meg Ryan makes her first public appearance in six months to support pal Michael J. Fox at the screening of his documentary, and she looks unrecognizable

During a rare public appearance in New York on Thursday, Meg Ryan looked radically different.

The 61-year-old actress, who hasn’t been seen since November of last year, wore a flawless complexion as she attended a screening for Michael J. Fox’s new documentary, “Still.” Despite her long-held refusal to undergo plastic surgery or enhancements, Meg had bigger lips and wrinkle-free skin, which she matched with her distinctive blonde hair. The “Sleepless in Seattle” star was in good spirits as she posed with pals including Bill Murray and Elvis Costello at the screening, which took place in Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.

While Meg has been keeping a low profile recently, she made a point to show her support for Michael, who is launching an Apple TV+ documentary on his fight with Parkinson’s illness. Michael’s path from a Canadian army base childhood to 1980s Hollywood success is told in the film, which combines documentary, archive, and written components. It dives into his public life as well as his private hardships following his hidden Parkinson’s disease diagnosis at the age of 29.

Meg looked effortlessly chic in a scarlet jacket, brown checkered pants, and hefty black boots for the documentary screening.

Meg’s look has changed dramatically over the years, generating speculation about cosmetic surgeries. In a 2015 interview with Porter magazine, she professed disinterest in the rumors, saying, ‘I don’t pay a lot of attention actually…’ What a moron it is to be a hater.’

In 2016, cosmetic surgeon Mark Youssef examined her face and concluded that she had ‘too many’ modifications, such as cheek fillers, a nose job, lip injections, Botox, and potentially a facelift. He saw alterations in her cheek volume, nose shape, lip fullness, Botox on her forehead, and probable facelift.

Meg returned to the big screen last year, starring in and directing “What Happens Later,” an adaptation of Steven Dietz’s play “Shooting Star.” The film, which has been described as an ‘evolved and nostalgic take on romantic comedy,’ recounts the love history of a former couple who are delayed in an airport during a snowstorm. David Duchovny will play the male lead.
