Melissa McCarthy is a proud mom this prom season!
On Friday, May 30, the Ghostbusters actress, 54, tweeted a rare photo of her firstborn daughter, 18-year-old Vivian Falcone, as the high schooler left for a rite of passage event.
“Thank you to @sherrihill, @realkarahall, and @dandridesigns for making Viv’s prom dreams come true,” McCarthy captioned a snapshot of Vivian on her Instagram Stories.
The girl was seen in a baby blue and white princess-style gown, with a strapless corset at the top and frills on the bottom.

Vivian wore a single, lengthy necklace as she stood outside on a walkway with foliage behind her. She turned away from the camera, displaying her wavy, crimson-colored hair.
McCarthy lives with her Bridesmaids co-star and husband, Ben Falcone, 51, and their daughters, Vivian and Georgette Falcone, 15. The renowned pair has been married since 2005.
The prom shot comes after Vivian celebrated her 18th birthday on May 5.
“This amazing creature entered my life eighteen years ago and taught me the meaning of true kindness and empathy, as well as the value of being truly strange. I’m very blessed to be your mother. You make the world a better place!!! McCarthy captioned an Instagram snapshot of Vivian: “Xoxooxoooxoxo.”
The image depicted a young Vivian smiling while standing on a sofa.
McCarthy and Falcone’s children generally remain out of the spotlight.

However, in May 2023, the teenagers and their father walked the blue carpet at the Hollywood premiere of The Little Mermaid to honor their mother’s role as Ursula in the Disney live-action adaptation.
McCarthy spoke with PEOPLE before the premiere about her children’s internet presence.
“We keep track of it.” McCarthy expressed her belief that it still requires close monitoring. “I’m sure I don’t do half as good a job as I should because I’m so bad with it.”
“We’re continually urging kids to keep things in perspective. “This is not real,” she said. “I continue to believe that this is merely a facade and entertainment, and that’s okay.” I’ve stated, ‘It’s as if someone takes a role I’ve played and believes it’s the real me.’ But there’s a continuous fistfight that worries me all the time.”
