Mia Robertson is a powerful woman. Missy and Jase Robertson of Duck Dynasty are her parents. Mia is in sorrow this week after learning of the death of a guy who played a key part in her life.

Dr. David Genecov, Mia’s committed pediatrician for many years, unexpectedly died in a traffic accident. Missy Robertson broke the terrible news on Instagram that Mia was undergoing cleft lip and palate surgery.

“His compassion not only comforted Mia (and me), but his constant belief in both of us, affirming that we can tackle challenging tasks, made Mia and me stronger than we ever thought possible,” she said.

Mia Robertson’s life has been meticulously tracked since her childhood. She had her 14th procedure in July, which she expects will be her last. The Mia Moo Fund was created to guarantee that every kid has the opportunity to smile.

Missy Robertson directly notified Mia of Dr. Genecov’s death, which Mia is taking very seriously. Dr. Genecov’s openness to including Mia in decision-making and his outstanding professionalism will be remembered fondly by the family.

In Mia’s cleft adventure, he exceeded our dreams and expectations. While we mourn his passing, we are grateful for the enormous influence he had on Mia and all of his cleft lip and palate patients. Furthermore, his medicinal achievements will help future generations.

Mia has yet to respond to the event on her social media accounts. “She can’t recall her life before meeting Dr. David,” her mother continues. “We kindly request your prayers for his family and everyone impacted by this loss.”
