Melanie Hamrick expresses her affection for her eight-year-old son on his birthday.
On Sunday, December 8, the former ballerina, 37, sent a heartfelt birthday message for her and Mick Jagger’s son, Deveraux “Devi,” as he turned eight years old. Hamrick described the yearly milestone as “one of my favorite days of the year” and posted a number of rare family photos.
“Devs 8 is one of my favorite days of the year!” the ecstatic mother wrote in her post. “There are no words to express how wonderful, brilliant, beautiful, and kind Dev is.”

The photos show Hamrick and Devi beaming together in a variety of mother-son selfies. In one shot, Jagger joins the two for a family portrait.
The Rolling Stones singer, 81, has eight children: daughter Karis, 54, with actress Marsha Hun; daughter Jade, 53, with ex-wife Bianca Jagger; daughters Elizabeth, 40, and Georgia May, 32; sons James, 39, and Gabriel, 27, with ex-wife Jerry Hall; son Lucas, 25, with model Luciana Morad Gimenez; and Devi.
In the comments section of Hamrick’s article, Lucas expressed his affection for his younger brother, referring to him as “Baby Baby.” The 25-year-old’s mother also responded, posting two red heart emojis in the comments area.

In April, Hamrick posted a charming Instagram snap of Devi spending Easter with herself and Jagger.
Devi was holding a white Easter egg basket while wearing a blue and white button-down shirt with a blue bow tie.
“On the hunt, xx,” Hamrick captioned the image.
