Melanie Hamrick, Mick Jagger’s girlfriend, has provided a five-word rejoinder to people who criticize the couple’s 44-year age difference.
Former professional ballerina Hamrick, 37, and ‘Satisfaction’ vocalist Jagger, 81, have been in a relationship since 2014.
The two met backstage at a Rolling Stones concert in Tokyo in 2014, while the dancer was also touring Japan with American Ballet Theatre.
Despite originally having a platonic connection, the music business veteran and Hamrick eventually began dating before welcoming their only son, Deveraux ‘Devi’ Octavian Basil Jagger, in 2016.

Deveraux, who is seven years old, is the choreographer’s first kid and the eighth child of the ‘Gimmie Shelter’ singer.
His siblings are Karis (53), Jade (52), Elizabeth (40), James (39), Georgia May (32), Gabriel (26), and Lucas (25).
Hamrick’s appearance wearing what appeared to be a promise ring last year sparked engagement rumors.
Did Mick hand me the ring? Yes. Is this for that finger? “Yes,” she said coyly to people in June.
“Do we resemble lustful teenagers giving each other…?” In my opinion, it represents a promise ring. “We’ll be immature and call it a promise ring,” Hamrick said.
In a recent interview, the Virginia native discusses how she thinks about her and her boyfriend’s age gap, as well as disclosing that she wasn’t star-struck when they first met.
“Ballet dancers meet some of the biggest stars and say, ‘Who are you?'” We regard ballet dancers as divine beings.
“That’s who you study and admire. “You’re in your own world,” she told The Sunday Times.
When asked how it feels to be 44 years younger than Jagger, Hamrick replied, “I don’t think about it.”
“Everyone is going to have an opinion. “If you consider others’ perspectives, you’ll encounter an issue and evaluate it no matter where you are.”
“I put blinders on. Am I happy? Yes. Is everyone in my life happy? Yes. Am I hurting anyone? No. Okay, they may keep their own business.”

The Rolling Stones just finished a North American tour in support of their latest studio album, Hackney Diamonds.
On April 28, the band launched their tour in Houston’s NRG Stadium, followed by stops at Glendale’s State Farm Stadium and Orlando’s Camping World Stadium.
The Hackney Diamonds Tour concluded on July 21 with a night at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale.
The group announced last week that they will release a special vinyl version of their newest album to commemorate their first anniversary.
