Mike Tyson claimed that when he picked up Hasbulla and pretended to bite his ear, he mistook him for a baby. The legendary boxer will soon fight Jake Paul, but last year he fought what may have been his most difficult opponent on the Hotboxin podcast.

Tyson and Hasbulla had a playfight, as seen by the clip, before the boxer scooped up the 22-year-old and held him like a baby while pretending to bite the guy’s ear. It was an odd moment, but hardly the worst thing Tyson had ever done to someone’s ear. Despite the unusual experience, Hasbulla later expressed his intention to “do it again soon” and promised a “much greater” encounter the next time they met, suggesting that no harm occurred.

Tyson subsequently claimed that he had mistaken Hasbulla, 20, for a baby when the fighter nipped his ear. Due to a growth hormone deficit-induced dwarfism, Hasbulla stands 102 cm tall. Regarding his condition, he stated, “I can’t say I’m disabled. I can talk and comprehend. I have limbs and legs, just like everyone else.” While he seemed to have loved meeting Mike Tyson, the boxer recently came on The Art of Ward podcast to explain what he was thinking when he lifted him and began chewing on his ear. He replied, “Yes. I assumed it was a baby. No, no. I didn’t know.” This is how I interact with children; I am currently holding a man who is approximately 26 years old. “I was completely unaware!”

Elsewhere on the show, he was questioned about his planned boxing match, which has been postponed since earlier this year due to Tyson experiencing a medical issue on a trip from Miami to LA. Although the bout pits a 58-year-old against a 27-year-old, Tyson maintained he didn’t feel his age while preparing, telling podcast host Andre Ward, “I don’t think I’m 58.” Do you think I feel 58 when I’m battling these young n*****s in the gym, and they’re hitting me like huge, powerful motherf**kers, and I’m hitting them back? “I should be the old man, and he should be the young one.” He’s a young man; he should be able to take punches from an old, withering man like me. Listen, you can’t compare me to other people my age because they haven’t trained as long or regularly as I have.” Tyson claimed to be a ‘different kind of human being’ and guaranteed that his battle would be a ‘great evening’.
