Haley Hassell, a single mother, must use “tough love,” or else her little daughter would treat her badly. Being a strong mother, though, may be challenging at times. not this time, though! Haley gave her “ungrateful” six-year-old daughter the nicest and most well-liked pencil holder she could find, but when the child threw it in the garbage and started to act up, her mother was not going to put up with it.
Florida resident Haley wrote about how she disciplined her child for throwing a fit after trying so hard to obtain the young girl the precise pencil bag she desired. Mom looked everywhere for the particularly branded pencil holder since Presleigh “needed” it, and she ultimately found the ideal one. The little girl, however, threw the present into the garbage as if it were terrible to reject it since she was unable to control her feelings of annoyance.
Haley added in the Facebook tirade that “Ms. Presleigh learned a tough love lesson today.” “To obtain that LOL pencil box you see in the garbage there, I traveled to three separate places. She gazed at it, tossed it in the garbage, and slammed the bedroom door when I surprised her with it this afternoon (just knowing she would be over the moon). That’s silly, she shouted. Everyone has that in my class. Now, I don’t want it at all.
The mother of one continued, “WHAT STOP COME AGAIN? Okay, so at this point, smoke was probably shooting out of my ears, and I was desperately trying to keep from losing it on this daughter, whom I had fought so hard to support financially on my own and make sure she always had enough. But despite my belief that I had instilled in her a sense of gratitude for her good fortune, it appears that Sister needed a little wake-up call.

So I catch myself and say, Okay, that’s fine; let me go get the one you’re going to use” before going full Madea on my kid. returned with her new pencil case, a Ziploc bag. She went insane!”
The LOL Box she just smashed was suddenly sufficient, and the Ziploc bag was awful, she said. It’s too late for all of that, though. I told her to take the LOL out of the garbage and that we would locate a kid tomorrow who either doesn’t have a mom or dad or whose parents don’t have any money for school supplies to get it.
The single mother added, “I emphasized to her that she’s not entitled to anything exceptional, and she is taking for granted how blessed she is. Therefore, she will be utilizing a Ziploc bag for the time being and giving the thoughtful box to a youngster who might use it herself. I may occasionally overreact, but I would give anything to still be a kid like her.
“I really think that altering your perspective and simply being appreciative can improve any circumstance in life. #UngratefulnessDONTflyOverHere”
This mother forbade her daughter from acting out. I hope more parents will follow her.
