Mother was chastised for posting video of Father’s Day family picnic at her husband’s grave. VIDEO

Death is, without a doubt, a terrible and tragic affair. Despite losing the head of the household 13 years ago, the Rosenthal family has maintained their spirits. The loss has undoubtedly been difficult, but they try to keep their father in their thoughts as often as possible.

Mark Rosenthal, Robin Rosenthal’s spouse, died in 2010. Robin reared their children, Sam and Emma, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, after his death.

Although Mark is no longer present, Robin ensures that her children keep their father’s spirit alive in a variety of ways. They recently began uploading YouTube videos of themselves visiting Mark’s cemetery. They uploaded a retro Father’s Day meal, camping beside the lawn, in June 2022, which they labeled a tradition.

Emma and Robin were enjoying their meals in the brief film. “Father’s Day lunch with Dad!” Before asking his mother where Mark was, Sam remarked in the video: “Down there, in the ground,” Robin said.

While they were eating joyfully, Robin ordered her husband to have a fry and flung parts toward his grave. The message elicited a wide range of responses from their followers, including one who commented, “That’s disgusting.”

“She threw a fry on the ground like he was a dog,” read another remark. Another Instagram user described the video as “tacky.” Many social media users chastised the family for their posts.

In the same year, the Rosenthals changed their Father’s Day celebration to a picnic beside their father’s grave. Robin, Sam, and Emma were content as they sat on picnic blankets eating pancakes.

Robin was in good spirits throughout the video, informing the camera that they were recording from the cemetery on Father’s Day with Mark as their guest host. “Happy Father’s Day, Mark!” she exclaimed as she gazed at her late husband’s tombstone. “Give them hell.”

In another video from the same party, Robin told the camera that she had already eaten half of the pancake and showed Mark the other half. She then greeted him once more before dropping the food in his crypt.

This is the 12th Father’s Day without him that the Rosenthals have uploaded a Father’s Day celebration. Their contribution featured a video of their picnic setup, which included a griller for the hamburgers and all the other supplies strewn out.

Robin was the star of the video once more, this time talking about performing at a graveyard. She then made a joke about the site’s large readership, calling them “deadbeats.”

Mark and Robin married in 1986. They had just returned from Robin’s mother’s wedding in Palos Verdes, California. During the event, the couple danced to a live band and took a cute snapshot, which Robin shared with her TikTok fans.

As husband and wife, the pair had many wonderful moments with their two children. They occasionally post pictures of their family online, such as when they went strawberry picking in Montgomery, Pennsylvania. Mark died as a result of a heart attack.

Since attaining internet celebrity, the Rosenthals have encountered people who disagree with their attitude toward bereavement. Many people viewed their approaches as impolite and disturbing. Despite the difficulties, many people liked their passion and sense of humor.

One of their supporters even hoped that their loved ones would act similarly when they died, laughing and making jokes near the grave. Another person said Mark was a fantastic husband and father, and that his family still celebrated his life and included him in festivities.
