The Mötley Crüe frontman’s spokesperson has offered to provide further details later, citing the quick evolution of the situation.
Vince Neil’s Learjet crashed with a parked plane at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on the afternoon of February 7, 2025. Worrick Robinson IV, his representative, has issued a message on Instagram that sheds further information on the terrible occurrence.
The singer’s agent verified that the plane was carrying two pilots and two passengers, but Neil was not there during the incident. He explained that the plane was attempting to land when it swerved off course and collided with a parked aircraft.
The collision affected five persons. One person died, two were badly injured and sent to a trauma hospital, another had non-life-threatening injuries, and one refused medical care.

The situation is moving quickly, but Robinson said an inquiry is underway and more information will be released as it becomes available. The individual said, “Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today.”
Neil’s admirers took to the comments section to express their sorrow and sadness at the occurrence. One admirer said, “This actually terrified me.” Posts like this consistently lead me to believe that someone has passed away.”” An admirer who had similar feelings simply wrote, “So terrifying. So sorry for everyone involved.” “This is heartbreaking,” another fan said.
Others showed condolences, with one fan adding, “So sad to hear this…” “My thoughts are with everyone. 🤍,” while another person added, “Very sad news… I’m really sorry!!” “I’m grateful that no one else lost their life. I pray for the family that lost their loved one; it’s tragic this even happened. 🥺 [sic],” a third individual said.
Another person said, “Tragic! Condolences to the pilot’s family, and best wishes to the injured!!”

Some were first concerned about Neil’s safety until finding he was not on board. One admirer stated, “I’m sorry to learn of the pilot’s death. Thank you for your update. I was concerned about Vince when I learned that the plane belonged to him.”
The FAA said that the collision happened about 2:45 p.m., resulting in a temporary stoppage of operations at the airport. At 2:50 p.m., the airport reported on X that the accident occurred upon arrival at runway 21.
Officials confirmed that the parked Gulfstream 200 was on private property at the time of the collision. Firefighters, police, and FAA investigators arrived at the scene.
Spokesperson Kelli Kuester revealed the likely reason for the crash: “It appears that the left main gear failed upon landing, resulting in the accident.” Scottsdale Airport’s official X page reports that the runway remains blocked as a result.
According to TMZ, the jet belongs to Neil, but it is registered to Chromed in Hollywood, a corporation affiliated with the singer.
Neil was not on board, but his girlfriend, Rain, and her friend, Ashley, were. Both were transported to the hospital, where Rain suffered five fractured ribs. The dogs who were with them survived the crash.

In addition to Robinson, the band’s manager, Allen Kovac, verified Neil’s safety and sent sympathies to the victims’ families. He stated that the organization is looking into methods to help individuals touched by the tragedy.
Meanwhile, airport administration has issued a statement on X, recognizing the occurrence. “Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragic event,” the statement stated.

The sad tragedy follows a succession of recent aircraft tragedies, including a midair collision between an American Airlines passenger flight and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter in Washington, D.C., which killed 67 people, and a medical plane that crashed in Philadelphia, killing seven.

There were also reports of a tiny plane going missing over Alaska’s Bering Sea. A thorough search near Nome yielded the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, which was carrying ten people.
