Nicole Kidman’s speech at the Golden Globes got everyone talking—not just because she won Best Actress, but also because it was a very sentimental homage to her husband, Keith Urban

Nicole Kidman may have left out two of her children from her Golden Globes-winning speech, but she did pay a poignant homage to her husband Keith Urban.

“Keith Urban, when my cheek is against yours, everything melts away—and that is love,” Kidman said as she wrapped up her speech for Best Actress in a TV Miniseries or Movie. “It is true. “I love you so much.”

As the camera focused in, Urban, plainly upset, moistened his lips and fought back tears.

For a brief moment, he replied to Kidman’s remarks with a tiny but profound gesture: placing his hand to his heart and softly stroking it.

Viewers could not bear the delicate moment, demonstrating once more that their love is genuinely unique.

Nicole Kidman’s touching tribute to Keith Urban left Reese Witherspoon in awe. As soon as Kidman spoke his name, Witherspoon looked toward Urban, visibly affected by the tender moment.

Kidman had an endearing slip-up right before hitting the stage, faltering slightly when she went in to kiss her husband. It was a little, spontaneous event that added to the sincerity of their relationship.

Kidman and Urban have been married since 2006, yet their love still seems like that of newlyweds. Whether on the red carpet or during emotional award ceremony speeches, their profound bond is evident.

Sunday night at the Golden Globes was no different. As Kidman poured her heart out in front of Hollywood’s finest stars, Urban’s sobbing, hand-on-heart reaction said it all. Even after over two decades together, their love story continues to enchant viewers, demonstrating that the magic remains alive.
