A teacher should always be someone who is there for their kids.
We are all born with varied abilities and capabilities, but negative criticism improves nothing or no one. This seemed obvious to me as someone who deals with young children…
A father’s post criticizing his son’s teacher over a math quiz has gone viral, with many asking for the instructor’s dismissal.
Kamdyn Piland received a math quiz with the words “absolutely pathetic” scribbled across it.
The second grader gave his father the paper, which also said that he solved 13 questions in 3 minutes while drawing a sad expression.

Dad Chris complained to the instructor about how this statement was intended to assist his child, and the teacher responded, “I’m sorry you feel this way,” according to Chris.
So Chris proceeded to use Facebook to criticize the teacher. “My son Kamdyn’s teacher has been so rude to him and myself all year,” he added, “that he comes home with this, and I am beyond frustrated that someone would write this on a child’s work with such great motivation.”
“She made me really sad and upset,” Kamdyn told Fox 56 News. I was furious. And it was a very cruel thing to do.”
In April of last year, Chris’ tweet went viral and received over 1,000 responses from people, many of whom agreed with the teacher’s criticism of the 7-year-old’s performance and others who disagreed.
More than 20,000 people have signed a petition demanding the teacher’s dismissal.

Another petition pushing for her to maintain her work has just under 1,000 signatures, noting that what she did was bad but not anything she should be fired for.
Meanwhile, Chris stated in the comments area of his Facebook post that he didn’t know how the incident was handled at the school but that he had taken his child out of her class.
“Perhaps it will be taken seriously now, and it will prevent it from happening to other teachers and students,” Chris told Fox 56 News.
