Pamela Anderson reacts to Liam Neeson admitting to being ‘madly in love’ with her while filming a new film

The iconic performers reunited earlier this year to film a revival of the classic cop comedy The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, which starred Leslie Nielsen in 1988. And it didn’t take long for Love Actually star Liam Neeson to come out, praising Anderson as a ‘terrific’ collaborator.

Neeson will portray Drebin Jr., the son of Frank Drebin from the 1988 film, in the upcoming 2025 film The Naked Gun. Public confirmation of Anderson’s role is still pending, but one thing is certain: she will share at least a few scenes with Neeson, who recently revealed his experience working with the Baywatch star in an interview with People. First and foremost, Neeson said that he is ‘madly in love with’ Anderson. The 72-year-old said, “She’s really fantastic to work with. To be honest, I can’t say enough positive things about her. He noted that she has ‘no huge ego’ and ‘just comes in to do the work’. He also noted that she is ‘so easy to work with’ and ‘funny’, adding, ‘She’s going to be terrific in the film.’ Anderson has since reacted.

Anderson said Neeson ‘brings out the best in you’ with ‘respect, decency, and depth of experience’. The 57-year-old stated that Neeson ‘sincerely cared for’ her, recalling instances where he ‘wrapped his coat over her when [she] was chilly,’ concluding that he is the ‘ideal gentleman’. She continued, “It was an absolute honor to work with him.” While Neeson was unsure if he could ‘carry it or not,’ Anderson jumped in to reassure him. The actor described Neeson as ‘modest’ and stated, “It was hard to keep a straight face in scenes together.” Seth MacFarlane created the original narrative for the remake, and Akiva Schaffer, Dan Gregor, Doug Mand, Mark Hentemann, and Alec Sulkin co-authored the script. Schaffer directed the picture, while MacFarlane and Erica Huggins produced it.
