Pauley Perrette was featured in a social media video in September 2022, detailing a medical ailment she had on September 2, 2021. The actress confessed that it was the first anniversary of her catastrophic stroke.
The actress revealed that she had a difficult experience at that time, having lost dear family and friends. Perrette referred to herself as a survivor for surviving her experiences and expressed her gratitude and faith.

The star mentioned how she’d escaped death multiple times after suffering from food and hair dye sensitivities that may have been fatal. She’s also survived sexual assault, domestic violence, and an almost fatal attack by a crazed homeless guy. Perrette was also grateful for her rescue dogs and felt “good” to be alive after two years of adversity.

Her looks have evolved since she left her most well-known role on “NCIS,” as forensic specialist Abby Sciuto. Fans first reacted negatively to the actress’s new look, but some have since changed their minds. Perrette flaunted her rainbow-colored hair the year before she revealed her stroke.
Perrette posted multiple Twitter photographs of herself with a new and fresh style on November 10, 2021. The star’s hair seemed ruffled and moist in the images, and she characterized herself as looking like a “rainbow” after coloring her hair.

One troll stated that they were not sorry for their statement before calling the actress’s hair “ugly.” Perrette had “such a beautiful face,” according to the individual, and the new style made her “look cheap.” Perrette’s outfit, according to one commentator, was reserved for folks who frequented their Walmart.

The critic stated that while they liked colorful hair, the celebrities looked “ratty.” Another individual said her appearance was “horrible,” while another thought it was “awful.”

However, it seems that individuals changed their minds once Perrette explained that she had suffered from a stroke and other life challenges. On July 24, 2023, the star posted multiple Instagram photos, the first of which featured her with rainbow-colored hair.
Perrette stated that she is “terrified of Harmon” and the potential of him attacking her.

One individual encouraged her to “keep being you” because she was “awesome.” Another fan, dubbed “Aunt P,” said the actress looked “so beautiful” and professed their love for her, while another remarked on how she understood how to make people happy.
The remainder of Perrette’s photos, the admirer believed, showed her at peace and begged her to keep safe, be happy, and “stay you.”
It’s 9/2
One year ago I had a massive stoke.
Before that I lost so many beloved family and friends,
And daddy
And then
Cousin WayneYet still a survivor after this traumatic life I’ve been given so far…
And still so grateful,
Still so full of faith,
And STILL HERE! pic.twitter.com/psHokwiHij— Pauley Perrette (@PauleyP) September 2, 2022
Perrette left her role on “NCIS” in 2018 after 15 years on the show. According to many sources, the actress departed the show after disagreeing with her co-star, Mark Harmon, who apparently had troubles behind the scenes in 2016.

Harmon apparently brought his dog on stage that year, and it bit a crew worker, who required 15 stitches. The fact that they didn’t appear together on camera for the actress’s farewell episode was proof of their feud.

Perrette went to “NCIS” headquarters to say farewell to her coworkers, but her co-star’s character only received a letter, which he read while she stood across the street watching.
In a 2019 Twitter post, she stated that she would never change her part in the series. Perrette stated that she was “terrified of Harmon” and the potential of his attacking her. The actress claimed she had nightmares about the impending occurrence and had found a new program that was safe and pleasant for her.
