A deer in Norway that was under attack by hunters received immediate assistance from a family who lived close to a forest. Such scenarios are uncommon, and animals normally migrate away from the danger zone. However, the rescued deer has been tapping on the window of his rescuers’ house virtually every day for three years in a row.

At the same time, lonely 81-year-old Mette Kvam was shocked when she heard a tap on the window, which was practically on the second level by our standards.
She was even more shocked to see the deer standing on its hind legs and patiently peering out the window as if it was waiting for something. Mette decided to treat him to cookies, and the event repeated itself the next day.

Mette dubbed this unusual buck Flippen because tears are frequently evident in his eyes. Flippen became a local celebrity after a few years of this unique marriage. Its peculiar ear shape has become a distinguishing trait, allowing hunters to identify it and avoid bothering it.

He travels to the mountains in the summer and seldom returns, but in the winter he is always here, sometimes pounding on the window twice a day. “Everyone in the village is delighted to see him,” Mette told reporters.
