People’s questions about John Cena at last night’s Oscars have finally been answered…

The WWE wrestler and star of Ricky Stanicky made a bold entrance at last night’s prestigious awards (March 10) by appearing in nothing but his birthday suit.

While everyone can appreciate the actor’s impressive physique, he didn’t forget his clothes; rather, it was part of a skit with Jimmy Kimmel.

The comedic performance began with Kimmel referencing an infamous incident in Oscars history. At the 46th Academy Awards in 1974, a streaker named Robert Opel ran across the stage during the ceremony.

Playing on this theme, Kimmel humorously suggested how crazy it would be if a streaker were to run across the stage again, setting the stage for Cena’s comedic entrance.

The 46-year-old then sheepishly strolled across the stage wearing nothing but Birkenstocks and a large envelope seemingly covering his private parts.

People were quick to question whether Cena was truly naked, and behind-the-scenes photos revealed the truth. In one snapshot from behind, he was seen with a piece of nude-colored cloth covering his front parts, extending all the way back to the top of his buttocks. Aside from that and his sandals, he was completely naked, showcasing his dedication and bravery for the risqué bit.

While many, including Margot Robbie, found the skit amusing, some criticized the Oscars for allowing it, considering that children might be watching the awards.

“I wonder if @JohnCena is going to apologize to the parents of the children that watched his naked ass onstage at the Oscars,” one person commented.

“No surprise that John Cena is walking on stage naked at the Oscars during prime time TV that children are most likely watching,” expressed another.

Another critic wrote: “The John Cena stuff is truly sickening. This man has children that look up to him from his time in the WWE. I bet he blows up even more after that disgusting stunt at The Oscars.”
