Police captured the heroic moment when the pizza delivery guy risked his life multiple times to save family after he spotted house on fire

Not all heroes wear capes… sometimes they wear a simple pizza delivery uniform.

When you think of heroes, pizza delivery folks might not be the first to come to mind… unless you count Spider-Man, I guess.

But one man might just have a lot in common with the web-slinger.

Nick Bostic, a pizza delivery driver, found himself in a heroic situation one evening in July 2022 in Lafayette, Indiana. While out for a drive to clear his head after an argument with his girlfriend, he ended up saving multiple lives.

Bostic rescued four children and a woman from a burning house, even jumping out of a second-floor window while carrying a 6-year-old girl.

Police captured his heroic efforts on bodycam footage, which went viral on social media after being posted online.

In the footage, Bostic is heard asking about the well-being of the children he rescued, showing his concern for their safety.

He managed to save three siblings aged 1, 6, and 13, along with a 13-year-old friend of one of the siblings. The children were being looked after by their 18-year-old sister, Seionna, who had to call her stunned parents to inform them of the terrifying situation.

Bostic suffered smoke inhalation and injuries before being discharged two days later, but he maintains that it was all worth it.

Last year, he was awarded the Carnegie Medal for his bravery in saving the children, recognizing his extreme courage in risking his life to help others.
