Anticipating parenthood, capturing the expectant mother’s baby bump through photos and documenting the entire pregnancy journey serves as a wonderful means to preserve the joy and excitement of embarking on a new family adventure.
Throughout their lifetime, the couple can revisit their maternity pictures, reliving the moments just before welcoming their cherished child into their lives.

While all images of pregnant women possess their unique beauty, some leave a more lasting impression than others…
Dan Mozer, a 30-year-old soon-to-be dad, proposed the idea of heading to Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida, for a photoshoot with his wife. This popular locale is adored by locals for its serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls and picturesque moments.
Spontaneously inspired, Dan suggested his wife, Angelina, strike some poses against the backdrop of the ocean waves. With camera in hand, he captured the moment.
Angelina beamed with joy as she showcased her baby bump against the ocean backdrop. Little did they know that Dan had just captured a once-in-a-lifetime shot…
What appeared in the background behind Angelina at that perfect moment?

A dolphin, leaping gracefully out of the water just as Dan clicked the picture!
While Dan was aware of the presence of dolphins in the area, the timing of capturing one mid-jump in the background of a photo of his pregnant wife exceeded his expectations.
“When I took it, I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’ Unfortunately, she totally missed it,” Dan shared with AWM.
The credit for this incredible picture is humorously attributed to their son, Courtland, born on January 27th. The couple playfully jest that Courtland summoned the dolphin from his mother’s belly.

Further explaining the miraculous photo to Yahoo, Dan recounted, “Someone started yelling to us that there were dolphins, and we could see their dorsal fins. Then, out of nowhere, this thing just jumps out of the water.”
Perhaps the dolphin sensed the special moment?
“The dolphin actually jumped twice, but I liked the first jump picture best,” Dan added.
Although Courtland seems to have a connection with dolphins, Dan and Angelina have no plans to change his name, dismissing suggestions to rename him “Dolph Finn.”
