Many of us have had the experience of having a dream that did not come true.
Perhaps we imagined how a scenario would play out or that we would work in a different sector than we do now. Maybe we’d set our goals for a romance that didn’t work out for whatever reason.
As a young South Australian has found lately, the truth that things don’t always go the way we want or wish for is a sad aspect of life.

He was disappointed when not a single customer came up after bravely launching his own café.
Tom Oswald, an 18-year-old from South Australia, had planned to quit the more traditional paths right after high school, according to reports.
Oswald, who believed himself finished with studies for the time being, decided to take a chance by opening a small café in Handorf, a town southeast of Adelaide.
According to all accounts, the youngster invested a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money into the business, which resulted in a pleasant, tiny establishment where he was thrilled to greet guests.

Tom, on the other hand, was supposedly disappointed when he opened his store and saw no customers. In a now-viral video, he resorted to TikTok to share his harrowing experience.
Tom’s surprising confession has gotten over two million views, and he has a wave of internet followers flocking to his side.
“This makes me so sad; please tell me where this is so I can come,” one person responded.
“I’m checking flights just to come and support this man’s cafe,” stated a third.
“We’ve got a group coming up to Hahndorf in a couple of weeks; we’ll come in for coffee!” said a third.

Tom told me how he had spent two years working at another café in order to gain the knowledge needed to launch his own. He said there was room for improvement in his coffee-making skills, but he’s always striving to improve.
“I am 18 years old, straight out of high school, currently in my gap year, and this project is literally the only thing I’m ever working on,” the 16-year-old told News Corp.
“I’m either at the shop working or working from the outside, finding ways I can improve the business in any way I can.”
