Sarah Brady, Jonah Hill’s ex-girlfriend, accuses the actor of emotional ab*se and says, “This is a warning”

Sarah Brady opened up about their breakup less than a year after it occurred and said that Jonah Hill was emotionally abusive.

“All girls should heed this warning. Brady, a 25-year-old professional surfer, shared images of various text exchanges in a post on her Instagram Story on Friday, July 7. “If your partner is talking to you like this, make an exit plan,” she said. If you need an ear, call me.

Brady received texts from Hill, 39, in which he reportedly urged her to delete any pictures of her surfing that showed her “ass in a thong.” The You People actor appeared to tell her it was a “good start” after Brady removed “all the posts,” but she doesn’t “seem to get” his message.

But I’m not here to instruct you. I’ve been quite clear about my boundaries, Hill reportedly wrote. You’ve made it apparent that you won’t let go of some of them, so I hope that makes you happy.

Hill said that she had originally been wearing a bikini rather than a thong, despite the fact that she has not yet responded publicly to Brady’s accusations. Brady went on to say that his words were intended to dominate her. She also mentioned that she did what he asked in an effort to “protect” him from his paralyzing dread.

“It’s been a year of healing and growth with the help of loved ones and doctors to get back to living my life without guilt, shame, and self-judgment for things as small as surfing in a swimsuit rather than a more conservative wetsuit,” she posted on Friday. And I’m confident that I have a lot more recovery from this trauma to do.

In August 2021, Hill and Brady made their relationship official. He had first slipped into her social media DMs. Brady claimed to have made her multiple flirtatious remarks on her surf photos prior to their relationship, and he shared several of those messages with her on Friday.

Brady continued, saying she regularly “took blame” for his acts in front of their couple’s therapist. “I’m sharing this publicly now because keeping it to myself was doing more harm to my mental health than sharing it could ever do,” she said.

Hill vehemently refuted Brady’s additional claims that she was warned she lacked boundaries when it came to connections with other males in her social media thread.

Brady and the Don’t Look Up actor haven’t said exactly when they broke up, but in August 2022, he started dating Olivia Millar. The first child of Hill and Millar was quietly welcomed, as it was revealed last month.

Brady hoped that Hill and his girlfriend would have a daughter, even though they haven’t talked much about having children.

Brady commented, “I hope my ex has a daughter; maybe she’ll make him a real feminist.” Because it is absurd that he suddenly proclaims himself a feminist. If I could wish him one thing, it would be to be surrounded by feminist guys who could encourage him to develop in the manner he has shown he wants to.

“I believe fame can put people in an echo chamber of viewpoints, which can enable emotionally abusive behavior,” the law student continued.

In his conclusion, Brady said that emotional abuse by a spouse “doesn’t mean they’re a terrible person” and that it frequently results from the trauma of the victim. However, she said, “That doesn’t mean it’s OK.”
