People Magazine has revealed the sexiest men alive in 2024, and Selena Gomez is dating one of them. Obviously, everyone would like to think of their other half as one of the sexiest persons alive, but not everyone is eligible for People’s Magazine’s annual ‘sexiest guy alive’ issue. The magazine evaluates all of the most attractive guys on the earth—or, to be honest, in Hollywood—and selects one to be the sexiest of them all. It’s no small achievement, and this year’s Sexiest Man Alive was none other than John Krasinski, star of The Office and A Quiet Place.
Krasinski said he had an ‘instant blackout’ after hearing the news, but others appeared in the latest edition. Gomez’s boyfriend, record producer Benny Blanco, also participated in a photo shoot in celebration of the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ title, appearing in one shot standing on a dining table with bare feet. Blanco shared the table with a couple of drink glasses and a silver plate on which he served two Taco Bell Mexican pizzas. The news of Blanco’s inclusion in the issue generated conflicting reactions from online users, with some even alleging that Gomez ‘bought’ Blanco to appear in the magazine. While People is more than capable of selecting its own candidates, Gomez expressed her support for Blanco’s engagement by sharing his photo on her Instagram Story.
She captioned the photo, “Not only do you love me unconditionally… you always get me my Taco Bell Mexican pizza.” In a subsequent tweet, Gomez included a comment from William C. Hannan that read: “I still haven’t figured out how to sit across from you, and not be madly in love with everything you do.” She tagged Blanco in the piece, expressing her admiration for the producer. In an interview with People, Blanco had the chance to discuss his status as the “sexiest guy,” stating that he had always felt very secure. He also mentioned how much he enjoys spending time with Gomez, noting, “I’m a real morning person.” I love spending time with Sel because we wake up early. It’s like our time before the rest of the world wakes up. “I have a genuine best friend with whom I can do anything in the world, and each day is the finest day of my life.”
