The terror you feel when riding a rollercoaster is part of what makes it so enjoyable.
Sure, you may appear like you’re working hard, but there’s always that time on a ride when you think, ‘Oh s**t,’ or doubt your life decisions.
But, of course, you’re never going to a theme park with a genuine fear of death, unless that’s your goal and you’re on the imaginary ‘euthanasia rollercoaster.’
Nevertheless, the realization that he was afraid for his life gave this guy a huge shock.
In terrifying footage, the man was forced to leap off a moving rollercoaster in a ‘life-saving’ moment.
On Sunday (November 24), the man chose to remain nameless while riding the Desert Storm at Castles N’ Coasters in Phoenix, Arizona, US.
It is the tallest, fastest, and first looping roller coaster in the state, boasting two vertical loops, a curved drop, and two helices, with a peak height of 90 feet, an 80-foot drop, and a top speed of 50 mph.
So, with all that, you’d want to make sure you’re strapped in securely, right?

Well, the man told NBC News station KPNX that wasn’t the case.
“We start the climb, and you hear the click of the normal roller coaster,” according to him. As we neared the top, he heard a click that differed from the chain’s click, prompting him to check his lap bar one last time before it released.
The guy climbed out of the ride while it was still rolling, claiming he had only seconds to decide whether to stay or get off.
He launched a scathing attack on the ride personnel, claiming they did not physically check his safety bar before the ride began and were unaware of what was happening while he was in the air.
“I think the scariest part was the negligence on their part and just the absolute carelessness that they had throughout the entire thing,” stated the actor.
“She (the member of staff) should have been watching that car, and when she saw me climbing out, she should have been able to hit an emergency release.”
The terrifying video shows the man exiting the moving coaster and stepping onto the emergency steps next to him.
He said that he had filed an incident report with the park.
