A wounded stray cat appeared to be in need of assistance as it strolled around the grounds of an East Tukey municipal hospital last week. Surveillance cameras captured the cat approaching the emergency door of the hospital in the Bitlis region of Tatvan.
The cat’s visitation location, Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital, shared the odd footage on Facebook.
The video shows the black-and-white cat staggering and limping as it enters the hospital. She meanders around the hallways until someone notices and rescues her. Fortunately, Nurse Abuzer Ozdemir raced to the cat’s aid as soon as she noticed it was in pain and suffering. The video then shifts to show the cat sitting on a chair while the nurse tends to its wounds.
“It was amazing to see a cat stroll in while I was working. I examined his foot and found it shattered, so I placed it in a splint, a medical device that keeps organs immobile. I watched the cat closely for a while. The cat then calmed down and left again, seemingly knowing its way, according to nurse Abuzer Ozdemir, who spoke with news source Enson Haber. The nurse also mentioned that the cat came back a few days later and had its paw checked again.
The cat’s exact origin and possible cause of damage are unknown. Later, the team came up with the name “Davso” for the animal; it was the name of a cat they had adopted that had passed away naturally.
An incident from Bihar earlier this year involved the observation of a monkey visiting a clinic in Sasaram for wound care. A viral video captured the monkey and her offspring in the clinic. A large crowd watched in surprise as the monkey waited patiently for the doctor, causing others to rub their eyes.
