Viewers of America’s Got Talent were shocked when Susan Boyle came onstage on the first episode of the new season of the talent competition.
Susan first gained widespread recognition after making an appearance on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, which was more than a decade ago.
She began her audition by singing “I Dreamed a Dream” from the musical Les Misérables. This was an excellent choice.
At her very first audition for the show, she revealed to the panel of judges that she was a vocalist, and many people in the audience scoffed at her announcement.
Even the show’s host and one of the judges, Simon Cowell, appeared to have his doubts about the contestant’s performance.
Despite this, Susan utterly blew everyone away with her voice and showed how talented she truly was in front of everyone.
Although she did not end up winning the competition for that specific season, she did end up coming in second place!

After Susan’s performance on Britain’s Got Talent in November 2009, she immediately went into the studio to create her debut album, titled I Dreamed a Dream.
After then, it went on to become one of the albums that has ever had the most sales in the UK. In addition to this, it established a new benchmark for the most sales in the first week for a debut album.
Her return to the competition of Britain’s Got Talent took place in 2012, when she participated as a guest performer in the show’s final ceremony and sang the song “You’ll See.”
In addition, she performed “Mull of Kintyre” during the Diamond Jubilee Pageant for Queen Elizabeth II.
Susan was candid about the life-changing influence that Britain’s Got Talent had on her during the interview that was shot in advance for America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
Susan discussed the deep effect that the show had on her. Before the occurrence, many people had the notion that she was unremarkable and that she lacked anything that made her stand out in any way.

She expressed her feelings by saying, “I feel as though I have something to prove on this season.”
“I can’t wait until the next time we get together to show Simon how far I’ve come since we last met. I am looking forward, in particular, to having the opportunity to see him.
This time, I have something important to demonstrate. I really want to win.
When Susan made her way out onto the stage, Simon’s expression immediately lit up. Before he could tell her how thrilled he was to finally meet her, he cracked a joke with her and inquired as to what her name was.

Susan made the decision to sing “Wild Horses,” which would go on to become one of her signature songs.
As soon as she had completed singing, every single person in the audience, including the four judges, rose up and began clapping and roaring for her.
The judges conferred over Susan’s performance and gave her their feedback after everyone had a chance to collect themselves and regain their composure.
Howie Mandel proceeded by praising her and said that throughout the history of America’s Got Talent, they have always said to competitors that they “want that Susan Boyle moment” because she is the new standard.
He claimed that this is because Susan Boyle is the new standard. Susan Boyle is the benchmark for all other singers.

Mel B went to press the Golden Buzzer after she had just finished telling Susan that she wanted to give her the opportunity that she so justly earned.
Every follower of the show America’s Got Talent is aware of the fact that if a participant is awarded a Golden Buzzer, it indicates that they will skip the semifinals of the competition and go straight to the quarterfinals.
Who could have ever expected Susan Boyle to perform any less than she did?

As the gold confetti started to fall on the stage, Simon and Mel B went up to Susan to give her a hug and congratulate her on her achievement. They did this as the confetti began to fall on the stage.
