Susan Boyle, the star of Britain’s Got Talent, made a rare public appearance this week and looked magnificent following her miraculous makeover.
The Scottish singer made history in 2009, when she surprised judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Piers Morgan with her vocals.
Susan has mainly remained out of the spotlight after finishing second to Diversity in the competition and achieving massive global renown with the best-selling debut album of all time in 2009.
Susan looked stunning on the red carpet on Monday, wearing a pale pink jumpsuit with feather sleeves.
According to The Daily Star, she stated during the ceremony, “I feel so honored to be here.” This is a fantastic evening honoring remarkable individuals who deserve special attention. We should commend anyone who goes above and beyond.
Susan went on to release a number of songs and eight recordings after Britain’s Got Talent, earning herself two Grammy nominations and celebrating a decade in show business with a commemorative album and tour.
She also returned to the ITV competition’s final last year, duetting with X Factor alum Lucie Jones on I Dreamed A Dream, the well-known song she performed during her own famous audition.
Susan spoke with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly after receiving a standing ovation, explaining why the duet was essential to her during a private health fight.
She revealed that she had a stroke the year prior, telling the public, ‘It feels amazing (to be here).’
‘It’s extremely significant for me since I had a mild stroke last April and pushed hard to go back on stage, which I did.
Simon commended Susan after the crowd’s screaming applause, stating, ‘We owe you so much.’
I knew you weren’t feeling well, but if anyone was going to come back, it would be you.
‘It would not be the same without you.’
