Truckers and demonstrators participating in the “Take Our Border Back” convoy protest have begun arriving in Texas, gearing up for a planned rally in Eagle Pass scheduled for Saturday. The movement also intends to organize additional rallies at key border entry points in San Diego, California, and Yuma, Arizona.
Protesters have traveled from various locations, including distant ones like Jacksonville, Florida, and Virginia Beach, to raise awareness about the escalating border crisis, marked by a surge in illegal immigration. The primary aim of the event is to inform the public about the crisis and exert pressure on lawmakers to address the situation. Event organizers noted that some participants have traveled internationally, even from Canada, to join the cause.
On Saturday morning, reporter Brendan Gutenschwager and Rebel News captured footage of protesters arriving at Cornerstone Children’s Ranch in Quemado, Texas, situated less than two miles from the U.S.-Mexico border. The convoy featured a diverse array of vehicles, including 18-wheelers, RVs, and pick-up trucks, many adorned with American flags.
Additional footage showed protesters making their way through Uvalde, Texas, en route to the planned rally in Eagle Pass. As they passed through, they were greeted by fellow demonstrators waving American flags and displaying Trump signs, while truckers expressed support by honking their horns.
