Tammy Slaton is showing off her new chompers.
The 39-year-old 1000-Lb. Sisters star appeared on the Tuesday, Aug. 19 episode of the Creative Chaos podcast, telling host Hunter Ezell that she got new teeth after coping with previous criticism of them.
“Show me them chompers, girl,” Ezell remarked as Slaton grinned for the camera.
Ezell complimented her before asking her to describe the task she completed.
“They are still temporary, but they had to cement them in since the adhesive wouldn’t stick. Well, my body rejected it. But they had to extract teeth. ” It’s a bridge,” Slaton explained. “I am still getting more done with it. “It is a process.”

Dental bridges are used to replace lost teeth. They are fake teeth that are attached to nearby natural teeth, as the name indicates, “bridging the gap” in a person’s grin.
“Everything’s great,” Ezell said. “You have new teeth.” “That takes the people off your back.”
“Some of them,” Slaton promptly said. “They’re always going to be there.”
“I’ll tell you this—and I stand by it whenever I say this—if you haven’t got people who constantly have something to say about you, you aren’t doing good in life,” Ezell told the reporter.
“Haters make me famous,” Slaton joked.
Slaton has previously expressed her nervousness regarding her teeth. In January 2024, she made a TikTok video replying to one critic who advised her to “fix those teeth,” noting that she had received several remarks regarding her appearance.
“With all due respect, I wish people like you would stop commenting crap like this,” she explained. “It isn’t improving my confidence. I was trying to maintain my confidence, and seeing remarks about my chin or teeth didn’t help.”

Slaton went on to say that having her teeth repaired may be pricey. Despite having money, she does not have the means to save for it right now.
“I had to calm myself down before responding because I really wanted to vent on you. I really wanted to tell you that if you had a true problem with my teeth, you should pay for them yourself,” she said. “But I would rather not be that person. I would rather not be disrespectful.”
“I am striving to improve my life and myself. We should be raising up others.” “It doesn’t matter if I have missing teeth,” she stated at the time. “It is sad. Why hate? Why can’t you just recognize all of my hard work? Why can’t you be grateful that I’m still alive? Yes, I have weaknesses. I am human. But I refuse to allow you or anybody else to ruin my day.”
