Teen sees scary man at Target going closer to tiny child, and then…

When we notice something weird, we may choose to ignore it. This young man saved a life by refusing to forget what he witnessed.

Cameron Cook, a 17-year-old Boston native, was like any other adolescent. He was with his mother on a trip to Target. The adolescent undoubtedly intended to spend the day shopping, but fate had other plans. Cameron’s acute eyes picked up on something unpleasant when they were shopping. He watched a giant, adult man approach a little girl and refuse to leave her side.

Cameron realized immediately that something was wrong. Cameron’s mother advised them to disregard the matter and proceed, a suggestion that did not sit well with him. Cameron claimed to have seen a “demonic look” in the man’s eyes and that he appeared to be rubbing himself while gazing luridly at the small child, which raised alarms in the 17-year-old’s mind.

“I saw the person clutch himself, and my mother said, ‘Cam, let’s leave; keep going.’ Cameron told CBS, “No, something is going on.” Cameron’s mother had no idea that her son would save the girl from a terrible fate. The man, smelling strongly of alcohol, approached the small girl and touched himself. Cameron acted quickly as he understood what was going on. Cameron approached the hefty man without hesitation and inquired whether he knew the girl. The man responded, “I’m not a pervert!”
“I didn’t ask you that, sir,” the brave teen said.

He kept his ground and confronted the adult guy until he became so uncomfortable with Cameron’s inquiries that he ran out of the store. However, Cameron doesn’t seek praise for his actions; instead, he aims to inspire others to take action when they perceive wrongdoing. Even though this incident happened in November 2016, it serves as a timeless example of good character. This young man deserves all of our admiration!
