The daughter of the fallen cop will never forget her escort to her first day of kindergarten

When a 20-year-old veteran lost his life in the line of duty, numerous police officers whose lives he had impacted in various ways stepped forward to escort his daughter on her first day of kindergarten, honoring his memory. The fact that the veteran had passed away several months earlier did not diminish the significance of the gesture. On August 8, 2022, a seemingly ordinary day for many on Earth, marked a significant milestone for Anna Stolinsky as she embarked on her educational journey by joining her kindergarten class.

While every parent aspires to witness such milestones, Anna’s father, Police Lt. Kevin Stolinsky, couldn’t be present this time. The proud father had passed away in November 2021 following a medical emergency at work.

Kevin Stolinsky, a veteran with over two decades of service in La Vergne, had forged memories, connections, bonds, and a family during his years of service. His passing left a void felt by those whose lives he had touched. Although widely regarded as an excellent man, no one feels the absence more keenly than his daughter Anna and her mother, Casey Stolinsky. Following his demise, friends and family gathered to bid him a heartfelt farewell at his funeral.
