The couple lacked the funds to rent an apartment. They chose to invest their cash in an old school bus and convert it into apartments after much deliberation. This action was condemned by both family and relatives, yet the bus ended up being a true castle on wheels. There is a hall, a kitchen, a shower, and a separate bedroom on the inside. The couple decided on a vintage bus. Its hull was heavily corroded, but the repair process was significantly less expensive than alternative possibilities. Everything was in working condition mechanically, and the seller volunteered to furnish a virtually new engine at his own expense for the sake of the sale.

The majority of the work was done while the couple was inside. Everything, from the chairs to the floor covering, had to be removed. However, this enabled the space to be expanded: a separate bedroom was installed in the back, and the bus body was visually separated into a living area and a kitchen. There was also a separate shower and a full bathroom. The first ride in the renovated bus assured the pair of the act’s loyalty.

Both worked remotely and could now commute from one city to another at least once a day. In a brief interview, the family described the process of reconstructing the bus: As a consequence, the couple paid less for the bus and its modifications than they did for the flat.
