The grown-up son of Pamela Anderson asserts that he has made it his ‘personal goal’ to rewrite the ‘story’ around his mother

Pamela Anderson’s son wants people to know the real Pamela.
The Baywatch star has two boys, Brandon and Dylan, with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.

From 1995 to 1998, they married and had two children.

A sex tape of the celebrity couple was notoriously leaked the same year they married, inspiring the Hulu series Pam & Tommy, starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan.

This, along with the success of Baywatch, shaped Anderson into the stereotypical ‘blond bombshell’—a caricature she’s been working to overcome ever since.

The 57-year-old actress, who just garnered her first Golden Globe nomination for her role as Shelly in the Gia Coppola-directed drama, is now assisting Anderson in this endeavor.

Her son Brandon, an actor-turned-producer, presented the script to his mother.

The 28-year-old produced his mother’s 2023 Netflix documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, which examined the actress’ life and career.

Brandon stated that the documentary’s goal was to ‘get people to understand and get to know Pamela since there was so much misperception about her and who she was.’

“It was really holding her back in terms of the opportunity she was being presented,” he told the magazine.

Brandon, who controls the Anderson family’s business affairs, went on to say of his mother and working with her, “The reason I got involved, other than for various business reasons, was to give my mom the opportunities she gave me as a child.”

“She’d do anything for me. She showed up and was an excellent mother. And at some point in your life, you develop protective instincts.

“I knew from a very early age that I would eventually be the one to lay the foundation for my family and rally around that.”

He went on to claim that it would have been ‘simple’ for them to profit from who everyone assumed his mother was, but he knew Anderson would not have been pleased.

“I really just wanted her to feel like she had the opportunity, whether it happened or not, to achieve success in the field she wanted to be in,” Brandon told me.

Following the release of Pamela, A Love Story, Brandon sensed a public change toward his mother.

Given the critical acclaim The Final Showgirl has received, he thinks “where she is heading from here is wonderful” and that this won’t be Anderson’s last big-screen appearance.
