The man almost immediately regretted his date with lovely lady

When a young married guy met a woman, she promised to spend the night with him in exchange for $500. However, once everything was through, he thought the night wasn’t as nice as he had hoped and that the amount he agreed to pay was a little too much.

Before they parted ways, they agreed that he would pay her with a check marked “apartment rent” and mail it to her.

Because he was dissatisfied, he decided to send her half of the agreed-upon cash, along with a note explaining why.

He stated:

“Dear Miss,

You will find a $250 check for your rent enclosed. I submitted a different amount than agreed upon since I had specific expectations at the time of renting: the flat had never been rented, I expected enough heating, and I assumed it would be warm and cozy. However, I realized last night that it had previously been occupied, lacked heating, and was overly huge.”

After reading the letter, the woman returned the $250 check and replied:

“Good day, Sir.”

First and foremost, I’m shocked that you anticipated such a lovely place to remain unoccupied permanently. Heating is accessible if you understand how to use it. In terms of room space, it is, in reality, pretty adequate. If you are dissatisfied with the furniture, please do not blame it on the landlord’s neglect! Please send a check for the entire $500; otherwise, I will be forced to call your present landlord.”

This story serves as a lesson to never make assumptions or hasty decisions since we will have to face the consequences.
