Despite the fact that they were born more than a decade apart, these brothers share one extraordinary trait.

Albinism is a rare genetic condition that results in a lack of pigmentation in the skin, eyes, and/or hair, giving albinos a distinct appearance.

It is quite unusual to have an albino kid. This is why one Kazakh couple produced not one, but two albino children 12 years apart.

Meet Asel and Kamila, the extremely distinct siblings who have become in-demand models:

At 14, Asel is the elder sibling. Her mother, Aiman Sarkitova, claimed she was taken aback when her daughter was born albino.

“When I gave birth to my eldest, genetics were not so developed with us,” she told the Daily Mail. “It’s just getting started. “The doctors were taken aback.”

Imagine their amazement when Kamila was born with the same problem 12 years later.

It’s a wonderful, eye-catching sight to see these two brothers together, so they joined forces and formed a modeling duet.

Asel has been modeling since she was 10, but now that she has a 2-year-old sister, she is even more in demand. On Instagram, the couple has over 33,000 followers.

While their albinism has helped them achieve great success, it has not always been simple. The issue is also linked to medical disorders such as photosensitivity.

“If I go outside in the afternoon, I definitely apply sunscreen, wear skin-protecting clothing and headgear, or use an umbrella,” Asel added.

“In the evening, when there is almost no sun, it’s much easier for me.”
But no matter what life throws at them, they’ll always have each other.

Albino individuals may feel alone since the disease is so unusual, but these two sisters are fortunate in that they will always have a family member who looks like them.

And, ideally, their success as models will bring attention to albinism and demonstrate how lovely albino individuals can be.

“Many people do not know what albinos are,” Asel said.
