These were Jennifer Aniston’s uncomfortable final remarks to Angelina Jolie before her bombshell split surfaced amid the Brad Pitt divorce settlement…

Jennifer Aniston’s first and only encounter with Angelina Jolie before her breakup with Brad Pitt has resurfaced as the Mr. & Mrs. Smith stars finalize their divorce.

More than eight years after it began, Pitt and Jolie’s court battle ended on December 30, just in time for the New Year.

The climax of the years-long tale comes after Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, 2016, two years after she and Pitt married, alleging irreconcilable differences.

The pair had been together for 12 years and had six children when Jolie filed for divorce.

However, Pitt married Friends actress Jennifer Aniston, whom he met through his manager, before his romance with Jolie.

Pitt and Aniston—or Paniston?—dated in secret before marrying in 2000, while Aniston was working on Friends.

Pitt met Jolie three years later, when they portrayed husband and wife in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, a film he produced while still married to Aniston.

Although Aniston and Pitt separated in 2005, Jolie changed the surnames of her children to Jolie-Pitt by January 2006.

In 2005, Aniston told Vanity Fair that she met Jolie on the Warner Bros. Studios property in California while filming Friends.

During the interview, she stated, “I stopped and introduced myself.” I added, ‘Brad is really thrilled to work with you.” I hope you guys have a wonderful time!”

Looking back on their breakup, Aniston stated that she ‘chose to believe’ that her marriage with Pitt did not terminate because of another woman.

When she first saw photos of Jolie and Pitt together, she said, “The world was shocked, and I was stunned.”

“I wouldn’t say it was one of the highlights of my year.” Who could accept it and say, ‘Isn’t that nice?’ That seems like fun!’ But, s*** happens. You joke, ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.'”

Now, Jolie’s lawyer, James Simon of Hersh Mannis, has told CNN that she feels relieved about the deal with Pitt.

“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt,” Mannis told the audience. “She and the children abandoned all of the properties they had with Mr. Pitt, and she has since concentrated on bringing peace and healing to their family. This is simply one phase of a long-term process that began eight years ago. Despite her fatigue, Angelina finds satisfaction in completing this phase.

Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, accusing Pitt of physically assaulting her and verbally abusing their children while on a private plane. At that time, the FBI declared that Pitt had never faced arrest or criminal charges.
