It has been widely reported that Caleb Anderson, who is only 13 years old, has been admitted to study at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
The previous academic year, he attended Chattahoochee Technical College, which is a two-year institution in the city of Marietta in the state of Georgia.
The most of us were probably somewhere around the sixth grade by the time we were that age, but not this brilliant child.
Even the other students and members of staff at his school can’t help but gaze at him in amazement. Even he can’t believe what they’re seeing.
And even Caleb cannot believe it. “There have been times in my time here at college when I’ve thought to myself, ‘Dude, I can’t believe I’m actually here.'” And you do realize how incredible this is, right?
It will serve him well to adjust to the new circumstances as quickly as possible.

At the most, Chattahoochee Technical College would have required an additional year and a half for him to complete the requirements for his degree.
The boy’s parents, Claire and Kobi, desired for their child to attend a school that was a good match for him.
When Caleb was still a child, he began displaying characteristics that suggested he was exceptionally bright. He had already mastered sign language by the time he was nine months old, when the most of us were still drooling.
He taught himself to read when he was one years old, and by the time he was two years old, he was an expert on fractions. Even at the tender age of three, he had already qualified for membership in Mensa.
Caleb is currently in the second year of his undergraduate studies in the field of aerospace engineering.
This adolescent, who is 13 years old, is not like other children his age who, rather than finishing their homework after school, would rather hang out with their pals and play video games or hang out after school.
In spite of the fact that everyone else can plainly see that Caleb is significantly more intelligent than the average child, Caleb insists that he is not.
The first thing he said in his explanation was, “Number one, there are a lot of people who are smarter than me.”
In addition, there are many people who work much more diligently than I do; hence, it is reasonable to conclude that I do not possess the same level of intelligence as they do.
He is talented, but it does not mean that everything comes naturally to him or that he breezes through challenges.
“I’m being challenged,” he said. “I believe I’m ordinary here. The students at this college share your sentiments, and the nature of the work itself is really unsettling.
Before committing to enrolling at Georgia Tech, Caleb met with the university’s president and took a tour of the campus and the various laboratories.
In addition to that, the university published a film on its website that showed him adjusting to life at the campus.
According to Caleb, his first day of school was “very fascinating,” and he used that phrase to characterize his experience.
Until he started attending classes there on a regular basis, he was unaware of how large the campus actually was.
“I thought I would be here when I was 18, 19, but I’m here a lot sooner than I thought I would be,” Caleb said. “I’m here a lot sooner than I expected I would be.”

The cost of Caleb’s education is quite high.
Caleb did not qualify for any of the merit-based educational scholarships that Georgia offers. Since he was too young to pay tuition on his own, his parents were forced to devise a plan to pay for it.
Both Claire and Kobi are wonderful examples to their children as parents.
Caleb is making progress toward earning a master’s degree from his university. After gaining experience at SpaceX for some time, he plans to start his own company in the future.
He hopes that young people and adolescents would look up to him as a role model.
