A Nigerian photographer shared a shot of Jar, a five-year-old girl, and earned the most likes he had ever received. The man’s subscribers unanimously voted for the girl to be the most beautiful person in the world, but this did not last long. Haters quickly criticized the publication, claiming that the image depicted child labor exploitation.

Mof Bamuiva, a Nigerian photographer, lives and works in Lagos, the country’s biggest metropolis. The artist captures lifestyle photos and photo sessions at weddings, then shares the ensuing and professionally crafted photo portraits of fellow countrymen on his Instagram profile. Jar Iyalaha, a five-year-old child, was one of the protagonists of Bamuiwa’s filming at the end of July.

She impressed the guy so much in the short period of the picture session that he rushed to publish her portrait. Bamuiva said in the description that the girl is an average person who seems to be an angel. The photographer said that he purposefully made the girl seem older.

According to him, he wanted to create both an adult and a kid from a little model, so he gathered stylists, makeup artists, and hairdressers to work with Jar.

“I wanted to depict her childhood and adult life in such a way that she appeared timeless.” I could make her grin or chuckle, but I placed her in a natural stance so the spectator may see the world through her eyes, since she looks like an adult.”

The shot immediately charmed Bamuiva’s subscribers. Three similar images of Jar received 34,000 likes in a matter of days, setting a new record for a man’s Instagram account. She was eventually voted the most beautiful kid in the world by users.

However, the time of unqualified sympathy did not last long. Haters soon flooded Instagram. After all, we all know how difficult the modeling industry can be. Commentators criticized the photographer’s work because of the girl in the picture’s flawless complexion, large eyes, and excellent haircut.
