A guy has been dubbed the ‘dumbest tattoo ever’ after showing off his new tattoos, which he got expressly for his lover.

We’ve seen some fairly bizarre tattoos on the internet over the years, probably none more so than the lady who has 800 of them and struggles to get work as a consequence.

Now, a man is receiving a lot of backlash online because of a tattoo he got in honor of his other half.

Something like that is frequently labeled as ‘sweet’ by the internet, although this is generally because a man has honored his girlfriend by tattooing her initials on him or something similar.

This tattoo, however, is far from that, as a caption on the viral TikTok video read: “POV: getting a tattoo of your girlfriend’s bite mark.”

A lady is shown in the 20-second video biting the man’s arm so hard that it leaves a bite mark on his flesh.

Following the bite mark, a tattoo artist scribbled over it with a crimson pen for the pretty unusual piece of ink.

She then took out her tattoo gun and etched the bite mark onto the man’s arm.

So that’s one way to express your feelings for someone, eh?

Betty Zoo Tattoo, a tattoo parlor in Copenhagen, Denmark, posted the video.

The TikTok swiftly went viral on the popular video site, accumulating over 14 million views in less than a week.

The majority of those who have commented so far have not been shy about telling the nameless couple what they think of the tattoo.

“‘What’s the stupidest tattoo you can think of getting?'” one person joked.

A follow-up question was: “‘What’s the dumbest idea for a tattoo? I want one of those.”

On the other hand, a third person inquired, “I feel like couple’s tattoos have so many cute ideas, but y’all getting bite marks, why?”

Many others mentioned the possibility of the pair splitting up in the future.

That would be difficult for the man to explain to a potential girlfriend, wouldn’t it?

However, not everyone was opposed to the tattoo, with one user writing, “Oh, I guess I’m the only one who liked this.”

While another stated, “Wait, I feel like this is lowkey cute.”
