Brady shared the images on July 4, 2023, along with a loving birthday greeting for the “best mom. Brady expressed happiness that many people around the country were delighted and fired off fireworks on the same day as his mother’s birthday, saying:

“We adore you, Mom, and we appreciate everything you have done and continue to do for us! We are having a wonderful day, and we are all very grateful to have you in our lives!”

Brady’s followers noticed his eldest kid, Jack, 15, whom he welcomed with his ex-wife, Bridget Moynahan, as well as his two children, Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10, whom he fathered with his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, in the images. The children delighted in posing with their old grandma, who was stricken with cancer in 2016.

Brady’s mother grew up in Browerville, Minnesota, where she was well-liked by her classmates and friends. Galynn was a freshman at Browerville High School when she was crowned homecoming queen in 1961.

“She was so social, a friend to everyone, and everybody liked her,” Mayor Heid, her junior at school, recalled of her. Brady’s mother relocated to California after finishing her studies, where his father, Tom Sr., established his insurance agency, Thomas Brady and Associates.

Brady’s father attended the University of San Francisco before working for eight years and eventually starting his own corporation. On April 19, 1969, he married Galynn and moved into their San Mateo, California, home.

Despite the fact that their son went to prominence and became a millionaire, Galynn and Tom Sr. are said to live a humble life in the home where they raised the NFL quarterback and his three sisters.

Brady tweeted a photo of his parents with their children and grandkids on their 52nd wedding anniversary, along with a sweet statement. “52 years of marriage is an amazing accomplishment! Brady added that he is grateful to have them as “incredible role models” for the entire family.

Galynn’s life was flipped upside down in June 2016 when she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She disclosed in an interview that she had “a very fast-growing, aggressive type of cancer” that required several radiation and chemotherapy sessions.

Galynn’s treatment started in September and lasted five months. As a result of his hectic schedule, Brady was unable to see his mother during that period. He did, however, keep in touch with her via phone conversations.

His father claimed he chatted with them “on an extraordinarily regular basis” and was constantly curious about what was going on when he wasn’t there. Galynn’s hair began to fall out as her treatment proceeded, but her son made sure she didn’t feel horrible about it. Brady informed her in video conversations that she looked “so beautiful.”

Galynn wasn’t permitted to fly since she was getting radiation and chemotherapy, so it appeared she wouldn’t make it to the Super Bowl. The physicians finally authorized her to go a day before her departure. She stated:

“I just wanted to be there for Tommy, and I wanted to be with our family.”

Later, the NFL Network discussed Brady’s memorable Super Bowl game, noting that “it was all for his mom. Galynn won her cancer battle shortly after attending her son’s game, and her treatment came to a conclusion.

Galynn and Tom Sr. now spend their time with their ten grandkids after raising four children and sticking by each other through thick and thin. Brady has three children, and the others are his sisters’.
