Tom Cruise is permanently prohibited from purchasing Bugatti

It’s common knowledge that celebrities often indulge in luxury cars as a symbol of their fame and fortune.

YouTubers, athletes, and movie stars frequently flaunt their expensive rides, whether it’s a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Rolls-Royce, to showcase their elevated status.

However, there’s one celebrity who won’t be adding a Bugatti to his collection anytime soon – Tom Cruise. Despite Bugatti’s reputation for producing some of the fastest cars globally, Cruise is permanently banned from purchasing one.

Bugatti owners must adhere to strict maintenance requirements, including spending $21,000 annually on upkeep and changing tires every 10,000 miles. While these costs are minimal compared to the car’s hefty price tag, they can be a hassle.

But Cruise’s ban from Bugatti stems from a minor incident in 2006 when he struggled to open the passenger door of his Bugatti Veyron at the premiere of Mission Impossible 3. This embarrassing moment led to his indefinite ban from purchasing a Bugatti.

Cruise isn’t alone in this predicament – Floyd Mayweather, Flo Rida, Simon Cowell, and Jenson Button have also faced similar bans. Nevertheless, Cruise hasn’t let this setback deter him, as he continues to enjoy a variety of luxury cars in his collection, including BMWs, Chevrolets, Mustangs, and his infamous Bugatti Veyron.
