The number of homeless dogs that have no one by their sides and are forced to fend for themselves is staggering, and every country is working hard to provide these animals with a family and a safe haven. However, most shelters are overcrowded and unable to accept any more dogs, so they are forced to euthanize them.
Tracy and Scott Whyatt, a couple, decided to save these dogs by finding them permanent homes rather than terminate their lives.
Their rescue operation began in 2011, and since then, a large number of dogs have been placed with loving families. It all began when they took some canines off the death list and relocated them to locations where they were more likely to be adopted. This project was part of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) effort.

Tracey and Scott never imagined that rescue pets would be their full-time career. But they are content and like dealing with these creatures.
They rescue dogs from high-kill shelters in San Antonio, Texas, and offer them the rehabilitation they require. When they believe the dogs are ready to be adopted, they load them into their trailer and travel to parking lots in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and Florida, where pre-approved people looking for a furry friend await them.

“We had previously adopted from Tracy’s Dogs and had a great experience with them, so we wanted to adopt from them again,” one guy who was waiting to meet his new canine explained. “There are so many dogs out there who need a home that we wanted to help out.”

Most owners’ reactions when they see their four-legged pals for the first time are poignant and comforting. The dogs are just as enthusiastic to start a new chapter in their lives.
