A heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded in Oklahoma City when twin toddlers, an 18-month-old boy, and a girl named Locklyn and Loreli, drowned in their family’s pool. The devastating incident occurred after their great-grandmother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, unintentionally left a door open.
The family, residing in a $565,000 mansion, discovered the unconscious twins at the bottom of the pool. The mother, Jenny Callazzo, found them in critical condition. Despite efforts to resuscitate the toddlers, they were pronounced dead two hours later.

Jenny Callazzo, a stay-at-home mother and boutique owner, lives with her husband Sonny, six children, and her grandmother who has dementia. It’s reported that the great-grandmother left the back door open, unbeknownst to the family, and the toddlers wandered out.
The police are investigating the incident, but foul play is not suspected. Aerial views of the property revealed a pool covered with green algae, suggesting the tragic location where the twins drowned.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist the family with medical bills and end-of-life care. The heartbreaking incident serves as a painful reminder of the dangers water poses to young children.
Laura Gamino, a trauma injury prevention coordinator, emphasized the swift and silent nature of drowning, urging parents to be vigilant and take preventive measures such as installing high fences with gates around pools.

The family, devastated by this unimaginable loss, has the support and condolences of many as they navigate through this difficult time.
