Neighbors that make a lot of noise are never fun. Cilla Carden knows everything there is to know about her noisy neighbors since she has them. In fact, she thought them so repulsive that she took them to Australia’s Supreme Court.
The massage therapist in Perth, Australia, sued her neighbors, saying that she was unable to utilize her backyard because they were constantly using their BBQ and playing basketball there.
“I haven’t been able to sleep,” Carden explained. It’s been a painful, chaotic, and unnerving experience.”
Carden, a vegan, has been moaning for months about her neighbor’s smoking and barbecues. She also shared her thoughts on the kids shooting hoops.

“They placed it there so that I could only smell fish,” I explained. I can’t enjoy my backyard since I can’t go outdoors.
Because things had gotten so bad, she decided to sue her neighbors. After her claims were dismissed, she attempted to appeal to the Supreme Court, but her request was also denied.
“I told the courts it was deliberate,” Carden said.
Nonetheless, her neighbor feels they have found a realistic solution. When 9News went to the defendant’s backyard, they were told that the youngsters had been instructed not to play basketball and that the barbecue had been taken.

Following the news of the odd court case making headlines, a Facebook event was formed to show Carden that she couldn’t “destroy a good old Aussie tradition.”
However, following the event, which drew 24,000 people, police issued a warning, and Carden’s lawyer threatened legal action. The outing was postponed.
Despite the fact that her actions and worries have caused many to assume otherwise, Carden’s lawyer maintains that she has “no issue with people eating meat and no objection to people having barbecues.”
