Video of the dog on top of the pyramid goes viral on Internet

A guy was perplexed after noticing a dog barking and wandering around the top of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
While flying his motorized paraglider near Egypt’s Great Pyramid, Alex Lang noticed something unusual in the distance.
Intrigued, the explorer approached for a closer look.
When he eventually saw the enigmatic figure, it was the last thing he expected: a dog that had somehow forced its way to the top of the 455-foot tower to bark at ‘birds’.

Adventure athlete Marshall Mosher uploaded Lang’s clip, which went viral and received 592,300 likes on Instagram.
The dog impressed viewers, but after seeing the video, they all had the same question: how did it get up there?
One individual commented, “I wonder how long it took him. “I want him to come down and get some water.”
Another person said, “No way a dog can climb the huge blocks alone.”
One joked, “Not a dog.” That’s the Egyptian god Anubis. People revere him as the guide to the afterlife and the guardian of tombs. That’s why it’s above the pyramid.”

Another Instagram user said, “I’ve heard they worshipped cats. We’ll see about it now.”
The Great Pyramid is the greatest of Giza’s three pyramids, built between 2580 and 2565 BC during the reign of Pharaoh Khufu.
The edifice, one of the ancient world’s marvels, has perplexed researchers for ages and continues to attract millions of tourists each year.
While some may want to follow the dog, humans cannot climb the summit. Prison sentences for offenders can reach up to three years, and in 2016, a youngster who had made the journey could not return to Egypt.

Colin Rugg, who has 1.5 million followers on X and 10,000 likes on Twitter, also uploaded the now-viral video.
Rugg tweeted: “A dog was spotted loitering on the top of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt.” The man who recorded the event from his powered paraglider said the dog was barking at birds.
“The Great Pyramid of Giza is a whopping 450 feet tall, meaning the dog had to take a long hike to the top.”
One commenter said, “Sometimes you just gotta climb the highest hill and bark at some birds.”
Another joked, “That’s his pyramid now.” “He won it.”
“That dog has lived a life that most of us can only dream of,” said a third.
