People online slammed Chris Hemsworth for being “tone deaf” after he shared a video of himself traveling first class with his kid on Instagram.
India, Hemsworth’s 11-year-old daughter, was seen resting in a flatbed in Emirates’ first-class cabin in the footage uploaded on Monday. She was seen wearing headphones and viewing the film “Thor: Ragnarok,” in which Hemsworth played the eponymous Marvel superhero.
“I swear it was her choice, #familyloyalty,” Hemsworth, 40, wrote in the caption of the photo, which had over two million likes at the time of writing.
However, not everyone was pleased with Hemsworth’s video, with some slamming him for braggadocio.

“May she never know the inhumane conditions and human misery of today’s economic class,” one Portuguese user said. At least five distinct languages were used to make comments.
Dozens of followers backed Hemsworth, claiming he deserved to travel first class and that the detractors were simply jealous of his lifestyle.
“I can’t afford first class, let alone a flight.” But I’m not unhappy; in fact, I think this video is wonderful,” one commenter remarked.
“I mean, if he can earn a living, he can afford those luxuries,” another person added. I believe that everyone who could would do it; don’t be jealous simply because you don’t have it.”
