Grayden, 10, was driving home when five people approached him and tried to lure him into their car. He dashed to his front porch, but the door was locked and the car was starting to reverse.

The house of a family was immediately in the path of this disaster.
But, because of one youngster’s quick thinking and alertness, a possible disaster was prevented right away.

But his trek became risky one night.

Three men sat in a white automobile, all strangers. Grayden was being followed as he returned to his house.

They said, “Hi,” and I instantly started moving faster, Grayden told FOX 13. “And they told us to get into the backseat because we have candy.”

They attempted to persuade Grayden to follow them.

Grayden acted quickly. He was well aware that the situation was perilous. Rather than confronting the men, he hurried down the street toward their house.

The car kept going and tried to follow Grayden’s instructions. He dashed to their porch in an attempt to finally escape the frightening occurrence.

The car passed by the house before coming to a stop nearby.

Grayden can be seen in the disturbing security footage peeking and craning his neck to see what the men were doing.

They were parked a few feet away from the house, maybe waiting for someone to arrive to save the youngster.

When Grayden turned the knob, he realized that the door was locked.

The back lights of the automobile switched on.

Grayden walked to the side of the walkway, where their manicured grass was covered in stones. He shouted out, “Mom! Mom!” Take a step back! Before screaming “Get away!” and threatening to throw rocks at the odd car.

Grayden ran for the neighbor’s house as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Fortunately, the door was wide open. He stormed in and slammed the door shut behind him.

He stood there after witnessing the car turn into the driveway of a different neighbor, as though keeping an eye on the child.

When the crisis ended, the family was traumatized.
