Vince Vaughn’s family was present when he received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
On Monday, Aug. 12, the 54-year-old Wedding Crashers actor was accompanied by his wife, Kyla Weber, and his two children, daughter Locklyn, 13, and son Vernon, 11, as he got the rare distinction.
Rarely seen together, Vaughn and his two children posed for family photographs on Hollywood’s renowned sidewalk. The couple smiled on the pathway, their two children standing between them, as Vernon displayed his father’s plaque with his star.

While accepting the award, the actor mentioned his family, stating he’s “so grateful” to have them by his side for the occasion.
“My beautiful wife, Kyla, I’m so glad you’re with me now. You, these beautiful kids, and our laughter fill me with gratitude. “As much as all of this means, Vernon and Locklyn, you do need to know that you guys are the most important thing in the world to me.”
“You’re not as lucrative, and you don’t give me access to the kind of stuff that this kind of thing does,” he expressed. “But with that said, you guys are the most important, and I adore you.” It’s wonderful to have you all with me.”

In a recent interview with The New York Times Magazine, Vaughn gave some uncommon remarks regarding his position as a father, stating that “being a parent has been such a joy.”
The celebrity also stated that parenthood has helped him become “more empathetic, more patient,” and “have more tools for encouraging.”
In a 2013 interview with E! News, the Dodgeball star discussed his love of fatherhood.
“All kids bring their joy; it’s a lot of fun,” he told me. “There’s nothing more fun than laughing and playing around with the kids.”
Two years later, Vaughn held his hand and footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre, accompanied by his wife and children. He has also been seen taking Locklyn and Vernon to Disneyland and NBA games.
