On a routine afternoon, Martin was sweeping the floors at the store when a woman stepped in, having parked her SUV directly outside the entrance. After a brief exchange of glances, the woman came to a halt.
“Have we met before, young man?” she inquired, shaking her head.

“I’m sorry, I was just perplexed.” I don’t recall ever meeting you. Sorry.”
“Oh, that’s all fine. “Have a nice day, then,” she remarked as she walked down one of the aisles.
Martin returned to his desk and spotted the woman again as she paid. He flashed her a kind grin as she went out of the store, and she returned it.
Martin was on his way home after washing the floors when he discovered a wallet on the ground outside the business. He recognized the wallet as belonging to the woman who had previously shopped at the business, and he opened it to see whether it had any identification with her address.
Fortunately, it did, and he decided to give it back to her. There were a few dollars in there as well, but Martin didn’t touch any of them. He got on his bike and rode all the way to her house. He knocked on the door when he came, and she was shocked to see him.
Honesty and compassion can come back to you in unexpected ways.
“Oh, that’s you!” “The boy from the supermarket!”

“Hey,” Martin remarked, holding out his wallet. “You left it outside the store. Simply double-check that everything is in place. You should alert the cops if you misplace any cards or IDs.”
“Oh dear!” said she. “Thank you so much!” I had no clue I’d misplaced it. My name is Suzane, by the way. And, oh my God, everything appears to be in order,” she continued, inspecting her pocketbook. “It had $2500, and there’s not one bill less.”
“All right, I’ll go. ” Have a nice day.”
“Well,” she explained. “Since you’re here, why don’t you come to dinner with me?” The market is a little out of the way, but you’ve come this far. It wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t reciprocate.”
Martin wanted to decline the invitation, but he couldn’t because he hadn’t eaten well in days. He was just 19 years old and had grown up orphaned. He only knew how to make ramen, and he hadn’t eaten a home-cooked dinner in months!
“Thank you,” he replied nervously, following her inside.
Suzane was an excellent chef, and she had prepared exquisite spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, which Martin couldn’t pass up.
“It’s delicious!” he said with a happy smile as he took his first taste. “You’re a great cook!”

“That’s very sweet of you, young boy!” Suzane grinned. “By the way, you didn’t tell me your name.”
“My name is Martin, and I work part-time at the business. My parents booted me out of the house, so you may call me an orphan. To be honest, I don’t care.”
“Oh my God, that’s terrible!” Suzane exclaimed. “If you don’t mind me asking, what happened?”
Never turn down an opportunity to assist others. “Grandpa was kind of rich, and Mom and Dad made good use of that man,” Martin continued. “My grandfather was a well-known lawyer.” After he died, he left everything to Dad, who spent it all on himself. When dad ran out of money, he booted me out and stopped supporting me. Mom was the same way… They’re too focused on their own problems.”
“Well, I’m sorry about what happened,” Suzane apologized. “But I’m also a lawyer.” And, to tell you the truth, Martin, you remind me of someone. “What was your grandfather’s name?”

Suzane’s face lit up as Martin disclosed his grandfather’s name. Martin’s grandfather’s legal practice turned out to be one of the most renowned in the early 1990s, and Suzane’s first employment was at his grandfather’s firm.
“He was a brilliant man!” Suzane exclaimed enthusiastically. “I’ll never forget his teachings or his principles.” In fact, the same ideals have been handed down to the lawyers who work with me today.”
“I know Grandpa was amazing,” Martin lamented as he set the fork down. “I aspire to be a lawyer like him, but… But, you know, there’s no money. ” I can hardly afford to pay my rent.”
“Then it’s time for me to repay your kindness,” Suzane responded.
“I’ll pay for your college, Martin, and you should be proud of your grandfather.” My husband died years ago, and all of my children have moved away, leaving me with only my legal firm and this empty house. I have all the time in the world to assist you.”
“Oh, no, that would be insane.” You offered me food to compensate for the pocketbook. The tuition costs would be too expensive. “I don’t think I’ll be able to handle it.”

Suzane, on the other hand, insisted on paying for Martin’s schooling and vowed to assist him in any way she could. Martin was thankful for her aid and went on to law school, graduating three years later. Suzane was brought to tears as she saw the young guy achieve success in life.
“Your grandfather will be very proud of you,” she informed him when he initially started working for her company. “You should become the best at whatever you do, Martin.”
“Thank you, Suzane.” Martin expressed gratitude.
“I appreciate all you have done for me. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you.”
Martin worked as a lawyer for the following eight years, and when Suzane chose to retire, she passed over the administration of the business to Martin and permitted it to be renamed after his grandpa. One kind deed changed the course of two lives!

Honesty and compassion can come back to you in unexpected ways. Martin was a trustworthy adolescent who returned Suzane’s wallet. Suzane, who was impressed by his performance, promised to pay for his studies, and he went on to become a successful lawyer.
Never turn away from the opportunity to assist others. Suzane knew she could assist Martin and support his schooling, so when she heard his tale, she leaped at the opportunity to assist him.
