In California, a woman fell asleep in her raised truck and unintentionally ran over a man attempting to steal her catalytic converter when she started the vehicle. She promptly contacted the authorities, leading to the man being rushed to Antelope Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Hugo Reynaga explained that the woman, upon hearing a thump while reversing, discovered the suspect beneath her car after stopping. Additionally, three other suspects, comprising one man and two women, were apprehended in a nearby car parked next to the truck.
