Officials discovered a woman dead at Chicago O’Hare International Airport early Thursday morning after receiving reports of a person stuck in equipment.
A brief statement from police stated that they found the woman “unresponsive and pronounced her on scene” in the 0-100 block of West Terminal Street shortly before 2:30 a.m.
The location is near Terminal 5, which handles international flights.
According to authorities, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office will reveal the woman’s identity.

On Thursday afternoon, neither the fire department nor anybody at the airport responded to NBC News’ request for comment.
