The event occurred in 2016 in Beijing’s Badaling Wildlife World, as the woman was driving around the park with family members.

Visitors at Badaling Wildlife World, like many safari-style experiences, are permitted to drive their own automobiles throughout the park, although they are not authorized to get out of the vehicle in specific enclosures.

Before entering the park, the woman in the video, whose surname is Zhao, signed an agreement stating she would not depart her car.

However, she later claimed that she mistook the form for a park registration and that the ticket taker did not clarify what she was signing.

As Zhao and her family were touring the park, the woman stated that she became carsick and chose to get out of the car.

Footage from the park shows her exiting the car and heading around to the opposite side, where she stood beside the open car door.

She appeared to check to see if she was impeding any other vehicles before immediately turning to look behind her, when one of the park’s Siberian tigers leaped at her.

Zhao hurried towards the automobile, but the tiger outran her and dragged her to the ground before pulling her out of sight.

Zhao’s family members reacted fast, with video showing a guy pursuing the tiger before another lady, identified as Zhao’s mother, hopped out of the car and went to aid.

Unfortunately, a different tiger attacked and killed Zhao’s mother while she was attempting to save her daughter.

Following the event, the Yanqing district authorities said there had been an incident at the park and that a wounded individual, believed to be Zhao, was being treated.

Footage of the attack elicited conflicting views online, with many viewers agreeing with the park and reasoning that the tourists had broken park regulations.

Zhao then sued the park, saying she hadn’t been adequately warned about the site’s risks and that a nearby park officer had failed to intervene.

However, after the incident, officials in Yanqing District issued a report stating that it was not an ‘industrial security accident,’ implying that the park was not to blame.

Instead, the investigation indicated that the attack occurred because the individuals involved did not obey the wildlife park’s guidelines.
