You will be surprised when you learn why Mark Zuckerberg wears  gray t-shirt to work every day

Well, wonder no longer, for Facebook founder and multi-billionaire Mark Zuckerberg just revealed why he wears a basic gray t-shirt to work every day.

Zuckerberg, who made headlines after becoming one of the world’s youngest billionaires, certainly has a go-to ensemble that he appears to throw on for most public engagements.

Many may have expected a funnier response when questioned about why he prefers a modest gray shirt despite his pile of money.

However, the 39-year-old gave a serious response to all those curious followers wanting to solve the riddle behind his simple costume choice.

During his first-ever public question-and-answer session in 2014, Zuckerberg said that his lack of fashion sense helped him to be more focused on his job.

“I really want to clear my life so that I have to make as few decisions about anything except how to best serve this community,” he stated.

Zuckerberg further stated that he wore “multiple identical shirts.”

“I’m in this really lucky position,” the CEO said, “where I get to wake up every day and help serve more than a billion people.”

He highlighted that even seemingly insignificant decisions, such as what to eat for breakfast or what to dress each morning, can use excessive energy.

And it’s evident that the tech tycoon didn’t want to waste time on this.

“I feel like I’m not doing my job if I spend any of my energy on things that are silly or frivolous about my life,” Zuckerberg continued.

Nearly a decade later, it appears that the Facebook creator is still very much adhering to the simple yet extremely unique wardrobe gear—as seen in a gray button-up t-shirt in an Instagram image he shared just a few days ago.

According to his Instagram, Zuckerberg has also worn navy blue crew neck long-sleeves, beige boxy shirts, khaki hoodies, and a dusty pink marl knit number.

With that stated, I’m sure we’ll all be associating Zuckerberg with his characteristic gray tee and trousers combo for the foreseeable future.
